For businesses

Professional conduct, honest profiles, documented work, and protecting your reputation on the platform.

Our commitment

TradeLink Hub — operated by Titan Application Development, LLC — exists to make local trade work more fair and direct. That only works if people feel safe showing up, posting jobs, bidding honestly, and leaving real feedback when work is done.

We invest in trust through:

  • Verified Hub accounts — email and phone verification, role-based access (client vs business), and SSO across the forum and trade platforms.
  • Documented workflows — job posts, bids, messages, completion photos, and satisfaction outcomes tied to platform records.
  • Community standards — forum guides, moderation, and a dedicated Report an Issue path for abuse and scams.
  • Responsive review — we triage reports and take action when policies are violated, especially for severe harm.

We are a marketplace facilitator, not a law-enforcement agency or on-site supervisor. You remain responsible for vetting hires, complying with codes, and calling emergency services when people are in immediate danger. Our job is to give you better tools and clearer accountability than anonymous listings.

How trust works on TradeLink

Trust on the Hub is layered — no single badge replaces your judgment, but together they make bad actors easier to spot and good work easier to prove.

One identity, multiple surfaces

Sign in once at titanjobfinder.com/auth. Your verified identity can carry to the HVAC marketplace and community forum via SSO, reducing anonymous drive-by abuse.

Work stays on the record

Jobs, bids, and messages on trade platforms create a timeline both parties can reference if something goes wrong. That record helps us investigate reports — and helps you avoid “he said / she said” with zero context.

Reviews reflect completed jobs

Feedback is tied to marketplace outcomes where the platform supports it. We watch for patterns that suggest fake reviews, retaliation, or astroturfing.

Moderation with context

Forum posts are public community spaces with rules. Marketplace disputes often belong in private messaging and support first — not public witch hunts with home addresses.

Verification & identity

Verification raises the cost of throwaway scam accounts. It does not guarantee skill, licensing, or insurance — always confirm what matters for your project.

What we verify

  • Email address — required for account recovery and important notices.
  • Phone number — SMS verification reduces bulk fake registrations.
  • Account role — client vs business paths with appropriate profile fields.
  • Google Sign-In — optional; subject to Google’s authentication standards.

What you should verify yourself

  • Licensing & insurance — ask for current documents where trades require them in your area.
  • Company identity — compare profile name, reviews, and years in business; watch for impersonation of known local companies.
  • Scope & price — get written scope before large deposits; be wary of pressure to skip documentation.

Good sign   Business responds in platform messaging, profile matches real company details, and reviews describe specific completed work.

Safe hiring (for clients)

Most jobs on TradeLink go smoothly. These habits reduce risk when hiring any trade professional — on or off any platform.

Before you hire

  1. Post a clear job — scope, photos, location area, and timeline help honest businesses bid accurately.
  2. Compare profiles — reviews, service area, specialties, and how they communicate in messages.
  3. Keep early talk on-platform — creates a record if you need support later.
  4. Confirm licensing — for regulated trades, verify credentials with your state or local board when unsure.

Payments & deposits

  • Be cautious of 100% upfront payment demands before any work or written agreement.
  • Never pay with gift cards, wire transfers to strangers, or “refund the overpayment” schemes.
  • If a business pushes you off-platform immediately to avoid records, treat that as a red flag.
  • For large projects, use milestones and written change orders — platform messaging helps document agreed changes.

At the job site

  • Do not share gate codes or keys in public forum posts.
  • Verify the person arriving matches the business you hired when practical.
  • For gas, electrical, or structural work, prioritize permitted, code-compliant work over shortcuts.

If something goes wrong

Use marketplace messaging to describe the issue factually. Escalate to Support with job links and redacted screenshots before posting names publicly on the forum.

Professional conduct (for businesses)

Your reputation on TradeLink is an asset. These standards protect clients — and protect honest businesses from bad actors who undercut trust for everyone.

Profile honesty

  • Use your real company name and accurate service area.
  • Display license and insurance information truthfully; update when expired.
  • Do not impersonate another company or use misleading photos of work you did not perform.

Bidding & communication

  • Bid only when you intend to perform the work at stated terms.
  • Respond professionally; harassment or discrimination violates platform rules.
  • Document scope changes in messages — protects both parties.

Completion & reviews

  • Upload completion photos where the platform supports them — proof of finished work.
  • Do not pressure clients to change reviews, offer kickbacks for five stars, or retaliate after negative feedback.
  • Do not create fake client accounts to review yourself or attack competitors.

Coins & marketplace rules

Where coin-based bidding applies, abuse (multi-account farming, automated bidding, evasion of balances) may result in suspension. See Legal for broader terms.

Scam & abuse red flags

Scammers adapt — but patterns repeat. Slow down if you see multiple warning signs.

Common scam patterns

  • Off-platform payment pressure — “Send Zelle/Venmo/crypto before I visit” with no platform record.
  • Fake check / overpayment — client sends too much and asks you to refund the difference.
  • Too-good pricing — far below market with urgency (“today only”) and no verifiable identity.
  • Impersonation — profile mimics a well-known local company but contact details do not match.
  • Phishing links — messages asking you to “verify” login on a non-Hub URL.
  • Review manipulation — sudden burst of identical praise or revenge reviews after a dispute.

Forum & message abuse

  • Harassment, doxxing, or publishing home addresses and gate codes.
  • Spam, referral scams, or malware links.
  • Impersonation of TradeLink staff — we will never ask for your password in DMs.

Stop   Never share passwords, verification codes, full payment card numbers, or banking details in forum posts or with unverified contacts.

Reviews & reputation integrity

Reviews on TradeLink are meant to reflect real completed work, not marketing campaigns or personal grudges unrelated to a job.

What makes a useful review

  • Describes scope, communication, timeliness, and outcome on the actual job.
  • Stays factual — strong criticism is allowed; fabrication is not.
  • Redacts sensitive details (no full addresses or private message dumps in public posts).

What we may remove or investigate

  • Reviews from accounts with no plausible connection to a job.
  • Coordinated fake positive or negative campaigns.
  • Content that is primarily harassment, threats, or hate speech.
  • Extortion (“pay me or I leave bad reviews everywhere”).

We may not remove every review you disagree with — disagreement is not always a policy violation. We do take credible manipulation reports seriously.

Forum & community safety

The forum is for learning, discussion, and structured issue reports — not public shaming or real-time emergency response.

Use the right section

  • Report an Issue — active bugs, scams, abuse, SSO failures (with repro steps).
  • Suggestions — feature ideas, not current failures.
  • How TradeLink Hub Works — general how-to questions.

Moderation principles

  • Link to forum posts when reporting abuse — permalinks help moderators act faster.
  • Do not encourage brigading or coordinated harassment.
  • Redact PII in screenshots attached to public threads.

See pinned guides in each forum section for section-specific rules. Severe abuse may result in account or forum bans.

On-site & physical safety

Trade work happens in real homes and job sites. Platform support cannot dispatch emergency help.

  • Immediate danger (fire, gas leak, electrical shock, injury) — call 911 or your local emergency number first.
  • Structural or HVAC hazards — stop work and consult qualified professionals; do not rely on forum posts for life-safety decisions.
  • After people are safe — document what happened on the platform and contact Support if marketplace behavior contributed to the situation.

Clients: provide safe access and disclose known hazards (asbestos, aggressive pets, unstable structures) when relevant. Businesses: follow OSHA and applicable trade safety practices on site.

How to report

Clear reports get faster action. Choose the path that fits — many issues need Support, not a public forum thread with names.

1. Support contact form (recommended for account & marketplace issues)

Use titanjobfinder.com/support — category Trust & safety. Include:

  • Your role (client / business / forum member)
  • URLs or job IDs where the issue occurred
  • Steps to reproduce and what you expected vs what happened
  • Redacted screenshots — never passwords or verification codes
  • Links to platform profiles involved (not home addresses in public)

2. Forum — Report an Issue

For community-visible bugs or patterns that help others (scam trends, SSO failures), post in Report an Issue using the pinned template. One issue per topic.

3. Forum moderation

For harassment, spam, or impersonation in a specific thread — use forum report tools and include the post permalink.

4. Email

support@titanjobfinder.com — subject line: Trust & Safety plus a short summary.

What happens after you report

  • Our team and moderators review reports when possible — severe abuse may be prioritized.
  • We may ask follow-up questions; check back on your thread or support ticket.
  • Actions can include warnings, content removal, feature restrictions, or account suspension.
  • We generally do not share internal investigation details publicly, especially for individual accounts.
  • Product bug fixes may take time; platform-wide resolutions may be announced in Announcements.

The forum is not a real-time ticket system. Critical lockouts may need direct email while you use alternate access paths.

Emergencies & related policies

If someone is in immediate danger, contact local emergency services — not TradeLink support.
