What this forum section is for
- Technical bugs — pages that error, uploads that fail, bids or messages not sending.
- Account and auth — verification stuck, wrong CLIENT/BUSINESS role, SSO to forum or HVAC failing.
- Marketplace issues — platform behavior that blocks normal hiring or business workflows.
- Forum problems — spam, impersonation, harassment, misplaced posts (with links).
- Trust and safety — suspected scams, fake profiles, review manipulation (with evidence, redacted).
- Accessibility barriers — something critical you cannot complete on Hub or trade site.

Before you post — try the right path first
- Job dispute with a client or business — use marketplace messaging, job records, and official support before a public thread with names.
- Password, email, phone changes — Hub auth portal (forum user settings are not used for Hub accounts).
- “How do I …?” — pinned How TradeLink Hub Works or Getting Started on the Platform.
- Emergency hazards on a job site — emergency services first; platform support after people are safe.
- Search this section — an active bug thread may already exist; add your repro there.
Before you post a report
- One issue per topic — separate auth bugs from bid errors from forum spam.
- Clear title — e.g. “HVAC — bid submit spins forever on mobile Safari.”
- Redact PII — blur names, addresses, phone numbers, and message content in screenshots.
- Never post passwords, verification codes, API keys, or full payment card numbers.
- Include repro steps — what you clicked, what you expected, what happened instead.
- Note if intermittent — “first time today” vs “every login since Tuesday.”

Hub auth & account
- Email or SMS verification not arriving or not accepting code.
- Cannot sign in after verified registration; Google sign-in loop.
- Forum shows wrong group (CLIENT vs BUSINESS) after Hub registration.
- Logged into Hub but forum or HVAC doesn’t recognize session (SSO).
- Cannot upload job photos or completion photos.
- Messages not delivered or not visible to other party.
- Bid fails, coin balance looks wrong, profile won’t save.
- Review or satisfied / not satisfied action errors after job completion.
- Spam posts, phishing links, impersonation of TradeLink staff or a business.
- Harassment, doxxing, or sustained personal attacks.
- Content that violates forum rules (see pinned guides in each section).
- Suspected scam — pressure for off-platform payment, fake check schemes, identity mismatch.
- Profile impersonating another company; astroturfed reviews (describe pattern, redact details).
- Report with links to platform profiles when possible — not street addresses in public.
- Link to forum topic or post — use forum permalinks when reporting forum abuse.
- Who is involved — forum username or business profile on platform (not home addresses).
- What rule is violated — spam, harassment, scam, impersonation.
- Do not encourage brigading or public witch hunts — report, don’t rally attack mobs.
- Moderators and the TradeLink team review reports in this section when possible.
- We may ask follow-up questions in the thread — check back or enable notifications.
- Fixes for product bugs may take time; severe abuse may be actioned faster.
- We won’t always share internal resolution details publicly — especially for individual accounts.
- Platform-wide fixes may be announced in Announcements.
- Passwords, verification codes, recovery codes, or banking details.
- Full client or business home addresses, gate codes, or unpublished job photos.
- Public job dispute blow-ups with names — use platform tools first.
- Feature requests without a current failure — use Suggestions for TradeLink Hub.
- Legal threats, extortion, or “pay me or I post everywhere” content.
- Unrelated rants with no issue to investigate.
- Malware links or instructions to harm systems or people.
